Basketball Game Preview: Cleveland Tigers vs. Bristow Pirates

The Cleveland Tigers will head out to take on the Bristow Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, Cleveland ended up a good deal behind Berryhill and lost 63-49. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 297th, while the Chiefs are ranked 105th).

Meanwhile, Bristow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 43-25 fall against Perkins-Tryon.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Bristow, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 6-11.

Cleveland came up short against Bristow when the teams last played back in January, falling 49-43. Can Cleveland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
