Softball Recap: Parkersburg Takes a Loss

Parkersburg lost against South Charleston on April 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Big Reds might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-1 to the Black Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Big Reds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parkersburg's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for South Charleston, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-15 record this season.

Parkersburg didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-3 win against Midland Trail on the 2nd. As for South Charleston, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-1 victory against Oak Hill on the 1st.
