The Campbell Spartans will take on the Florida State University High School Seminoles in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Campbell will be strutting in after a victory while Florida State University High School will be coming in after a loss.

On Friday, Campbell needed a bit of extra time to put away Sprayberry. They came out on top against the Yellow Jackets by a score of 52-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, Florida State University High School suffered their closest defeat since December 28, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Chiles by a score of 58-55. Seminoles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Timberwolves since Friday.

Campbell will have to keep a close watch on Calvin Laing Jr and Barack Sneed, a pair of players who had a big impact on Florida State University High School's prior game. Laing Jr went 7-for-15 en route to 21 points and six boards, while Sneed shot 56% from the field on his way to 14 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. The contest was Laing Jr's third in a row with at least 18 points. Elijah Brannon was another key player, putting up three points and four steals.

Campbell's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Florida State University High School, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4.
