After soaring to 36 points the game before, Big Valley Christian were a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They were beaten by Stone Ridge Christian 35-7.
Despite their defeat, Big Valley Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jacob Grabowski, who gained 83 total yards and a touchdown, was perhaps the best of all.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, who are still winless after their ninth matchup. They had to suffer through a rough 41-0 loss at the hands of Delta. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
Big Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, their defeat was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9.
