San Luis has gone a perfect 3-0 against Mesa recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Sidewinders will venture away from home to challenge the Jackrabbits at 3:45 p.m. San Luis knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Mesa likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, San Luis got the win against Cibola by a conclusive 17-3. The win continues a trend for the Sidewinders in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won five in a row.

San Luis got a big performance out of Heri De La Cruz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Carlos Gonzales was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

San Luis always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2025.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Mesa's offense. They came up short against Casteel on Monday, falling 17-0. The Jackrabbits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for San Luis, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2-1.

Everything went San Luis' way against Mesa in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as San Luis made off with a 14-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Sidewinders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
