Magnolia took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Mena, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers skirted past the Bearcats 2-1. The win was nothing new for Magnolia as they're now sitting on four straight.

Magnolia's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those three contests. As for Mena, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3-1.
