Baseball Game Preview: St. Edward Eagles vs. Westlake Demons

The St. Edward Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Westlake Demons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Edward will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

St. Edward can't be too worried about heading out to take on Westlake: they just beat Gilmour Academy at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Eagles blew past the Lancers 8-2 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Westlake came up short against Rocky River on Tuesday and fell 5-1. The Demons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cole Jung made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

The victory got St. Edward back to even at 10-10. As for Westlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.
