Basketball Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short

If Dunbar was riding high fresh off their 71-47 takedown of Bard last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dunbar Crimson Tide came up short against the Cardozo Clerks on Friday, falling 60-34. The Crimson Tide lost against the Clerks in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 76-73 score last time.

Dunbar's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Cardozo, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Dunbar will challenge Eastern at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cardozo, they will host Bell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cardozo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Bell likes a good challenge.
