Baseball Recap: Central Mountain Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Central Mountain won against Selinsgrove last Monday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Shikellamy Braves with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won six in a row.

Blake Walker was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bryce Brungard, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Central Mountain lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Central Mountain pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Shikellamy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
