Baseball Recap: A.J. Ellender Takes a Loss

A.J. Ellender lost against South Terrebonne back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The A.J. Ellender Patriots lost 14-2 to the South Terrebonne Gators. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

A.J. Ellender saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayne Hendon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2. That's the most hits Hendon has posted over his last eight contests.

A.J. Ellender's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for South Terrebonne, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A.J. Ellender will head out to face off against Springfield at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Terrebonne, they will venture away from home to take on Terrebonne at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
