Softball Recap: Grove City Beats Hayes for Their Third Straight Victory

With a playoff win on the line, Grove City rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Hayes Pacers 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Greyhounds have posted since April 10th.

The win (which was Grove City's third in a row) raised their record to 13-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Hayes, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-3.
