Adding to the longest winning streak in 4A District 6 this week, Clewiston beat Glades Day 16-10. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Clewiston and the Gators played the most contested game in the league this week, with Clewiston eventually emerging with a 16-10 victory. Luke Bradford during the win.
Lake Placid's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Robert Walton threw for 60 yards and Foster Walker had 35 yards receiving. On the ground Marquavein Copeland contributed 111 yards. Copeland helped Lake Placid's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 25 yards.

Copeland was a passing and rushing force as Lake Placid lost to the Vikings. Copeland's key target this week was Walker, who caught 2 passes for 35 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Peter Walker's team's Davis Witt and Lenorris Gaines have proven to be a lethal combination. Witt has thrown for 798 yards this season, while Gaines has 17 catches for 452 yards. Danny Robinson from LaBelle leads the league in rushing with 1,224 yards.
The top two teams in 4A District 6 will face off this week when first place Clewiston takes on second place LaBelle.
Fans will be thrilled by an exciting game in the secondary when the Tigers' Gaines goes up against the Cowboys' Jorge Betancourt.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when LaBelle takes on Clewiston. Chris Siner's team's offense has scored 194 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Tigers have allowed only 84 on the year.
Next week's game between Clewiston and the Cowboys will feature a good passing match up as Witt will test his arm against Betancourt's defensive ability.
The Tigers made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,175 from 2,693. The improvement was largely due to a 16-10 victory over Glades Day last week.
