Football Recap: Ubly Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Ubly was the 46-20 winner over Reese when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bearcats took a 24-18 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets on Friday.

Levi Gamer threw for 40 yards. On the ground, Conner Smith rushed for 40 yards.

Reese found their leader in sophomore Cole Stricker, who threw for 55 yards and a pair of TDs. Dillion Perry also deserves some recognition as he posted his first receiving yards of the season.

Ubly's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Reese, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Ubly will look to defend their home field on Friday against Unionville-Sebewaing at 7:00 p.m. As for Reese, they will venture away from home to square off against Harbor Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
