Volleyball Game Preview: Lynbrook Vikings vs. Cupertino Pioneers

Lynbrook is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Cupertino a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. The Lynbrook Vikings will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cupertino Pioneers at 6:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Lynbrook didn't have quite enough to beat Monta Vista and fell 3-2.

While Lynbrook ultimately came up short, they really made Monta Vista work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 26-24, 26-28, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Cupertino came up short against Homestead on Monday, falling 3-0.

Cupertino was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Homestead work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 29-27, 25-16.

Cupertino's defeat dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Lynbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 12-17.
