Soccer Game Preview: Reavis vs. Shepard

The Reavis Rams will head out to take on the Shepard Astros at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Reavis is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Leyden on Monday. The Rams came up short against the Eagles, falling 4-1. Reavis have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Shepard kept a clean sheet against Curie on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Condors. Shepard didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

They hit Curie with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Wiktoria Skupien, Hannah Brancato, and Samaralis Diaz.

Shepard picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-7-1. As for Reavis, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Reavis beat Shepard 2-0 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
