Basketball Recap: Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Comes Up Short

Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] lost against Sebeka back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] Huskies fell 62-50 to the Sebeka Trojans.

Sebeka found their leader in sophomore Max Lake, who went 10-for-17 on his way to 24 points along with five assists and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lake has scored at least a third of Sebeka's points. Henry Erickson was another key player, shooting 71% from the field en route to 14 points.

Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia]'s loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Sebeka, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-18.

Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sebeka, they will face off against Browerville/Eagle Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Sebeka's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
