Basketball Recap: Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 49-25 to the Crossover Prep Lions. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the N/A this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-23 back in November of 2024.

Crossover Prep found their leader in freshman Chloe Woodson, who dropped a triple-double on 31 points, ten boards, and 16 steals. Crossover Prep is 2-1 when Woodson posts eight or more boards, but 4-5 otherwise. Jah-Halla Sims was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight boards and four steals.

Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Crossover Prep, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-6.

Immanuel Lutheran Christian Academy will take on Mingo Valley Christian at 6:15 p.m. on January 17th. As for Crossover Prep, they will venture away from home to challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
