Volleyball Game Preview: Ann Sobrato Bulldogs vs. Christopher Cougars + How To Watch

The Ann Sobrato Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Christopher Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Ann Sobrato sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Silver Creek. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Ann Sobrato was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-103), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 19-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Christopher beat Leigh 3-1 on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 23-25, 25-16.

Ann Sobrato better keep an eye on Juliet Tassio. She was instrumental in Christopher's win, getting 11 digs and two aces.

Christopher was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in six consecutive matchups.

Ann Sobrato's record now sits at 14-17. As for Christopher, their record is now 10-11.

Ann Sobrato came out on top in a nail-biter against Christopher when the teams last played back in September, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
