Football Recap: Rimrock Raiders vs. Wilder Wildcats        
        
		
             Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Rimrock). They blew past the Wilder Wildcats 78-14 at home  on Friday. Considering the Raiders have won three contests by more than 34  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Kolton Jewett had a dynamite game for Rimrock, rushing for 73 yards, while also catching a touchdown. Jewett really tore up the turf  during one magnificent 70-yard run.
 Rimrock didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Kas Bachman and  Jose Jaramillo. Bachman also set a new season high mark in  receiving yards with 149.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Rimrock was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 335  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 306  rushing yards in three consecutive  matchups.
 Although Wilder took the loss, they still got scores from  Brandon Perez and  Julian Nerri.
 Rimrock's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Wilder,  with the  defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-4.
 Rimrock will square off against Centennial Baptist at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Rimrock is facing Centennial Baptist at the right time seeing as Centennial Baptist is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. Wilder does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
