Basketball Recap: Pine Bluff Comes Up Short

If Pine Bluff was feeling good fresh off their 60-33 takedown of Arkansas last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pine Bluff Zebras fell 67-59 to the Hot Springs Trojans on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Zebras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Trojans are ranked 33rd).

Pine Bluff has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Hot Springs, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
