Considering the Indians' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
As for Cosby, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18-1. They have struggled against Hancock County recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
For Cosby's part, Cayden Byrd made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage McCarty, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
