Volleyball Recap: Lutheran North Takes a Loss

Lutheran North lost against L'Anse Creuse North back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs fell 2-0 to the Crusaders. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Marian Vansteenkiste and Delaney Behring, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Grace Tobey and her eight assists.

O'Connor Aubrey was the offensive standout of the match as she had seven digs and four aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven contests. Isabella Hill also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Lutheran North's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for L'Anse Creuse North, their record now sits at 12-4.

Lutheran North has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Marysville on the 15th. As for L'Anse Creuse North, they will challenge Grosse Pointe South at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
