Laton entered their tilt with Wonderful College Prep Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 26-10 margin over the Lions. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 20-2 win back in April.

The team relied heavily on Camila Figueroa, who fired off two home runs, five runs, and six RBI while going 4-for-5. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Emily Rojas, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Laton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.2 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 12.4.

Laton's record is now 10-11-1. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-8-1 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Laton will challenge Kings Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.29 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Wonderful College Prep Academy, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Alpaugh at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Buffalos have now posted at least ten runs in their last six matchups.
