Softball Recap: Bonneville Falls Short Against Ranked Blackfoot

Bonneville faced Blackfoot in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Bees came up short against the Broncos, falling 19-5. The Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alli Sutherland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Bonneville's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Blackfoot, their victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-4.

Coming up, Bonneville will challenge Pocatello at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Thunder will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Bees surely won't give up without a fight. Blackfoot does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
