Rock Port is 8-2 against South Holt since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Rock Port Blue Jays will welcome the South Holt Knights at 7:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Rock Port took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Faith Christian Academy by a score of 60-48.

Rock Port got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brock Holmes out in front who went 5 of 12 on his way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Meyerkorth, who posted 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.

Rock Port smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Holt). They blew past Mound City 65-44 last Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Knights as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

South Holt's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Rock Port, they pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Rock Port beat South Holt 64-56 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Will Rock Port repeat their success, or does South Holt have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
