Carrboro piles up the points against South Granville

Recap: Carrboro Jaguars vs. South Granville Vikings

In what's become a running theme this season, the Carrboro Jaguars gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 64-21 victory over South Granville at home. Winning may never get old, but Carrboro sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Carrboro found their leader in underclassman Summer Lee, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. Lee is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Spang, who scored eight points along with seven assists and five steals.

Carrboro is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for South Granville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Carrboro the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Granville Central at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th. Granville Central is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for South Granville, they will head out on the road to face off against Louisburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
