Softball Recap: Spring Grove Lions vs. Fillmore Central/Lanesboro Falcons
Spring Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 17-6 to the Fillmore Central/Lanesboro Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Spring Grove of the 17-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Sydney Holland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Izabel Kaufmann, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
