Basketball Recap: Tenaha Takes a Loss

Tenaha was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Thorndale Bulldogs, falling 72-32. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1249th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 403rd).

Tenaha's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Thorndale, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Tenaha will head out on the road to square off against Queen City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Thorndale, they have already played their next game, a 35-31 victory against Giddings on the 12th.
