Softball Recap: Daniel Boone Takes a Loss

The Daniel Boone Blazers lost 16-6 to the Cocalico Eagles on Friday. The Blazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Daniel Boone saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Garman, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Garman also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Daniel Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cocalico, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Daniel Boone will challenge Twin Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Daniel Boone's pitchers better be ready for this one: Twin Valley has averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season. As for Cocalico, they will take on Conestoga Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Cocalico is facing Conestoga Valley at the right time seeing as Conestoga Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
