Orange Park fell victim to Ponte Vedra's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Sharks 35-0. Having soared to a lofty 36 points in the game before, Orange Park couldn't push the score so high this time.
Meanwhile, after only six points in their last game, Middleburg made sure to put some points up on the board against Bishop Kenny on Friday. Middleburg skirted past Bishop Kenny 31-28.
Jaydan ?jaybo? jenkins was on fire: he rushed for 218 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Orange Park has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Middleburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.
Orange Park suffered a grim 35-14 defeat to Middleburg when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Orange Park, T j Lane (who rushed for 351 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.6 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
