Baseball Game Preview: Tomah Timberwolves vs. La Crosse Central Riverhawks

For the second straight game, Tomah will face off against La Crosse Central. The Timberwolves will square off against the Riverhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tomah's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so La Crosse Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Tomah came up short against La Crosse Central and fell 6-3. The loss was the Timberwolves' first of the season.

For La Crosse Central's part, Liam Branson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kenden Bishofsky, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Schulze, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tomah fell to 3-1. As for La Crosse Central, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
