Southeast's Courtney Allen recorded the longest rushing play in 5A District 13 this season in his game against DeSoto County last week. Allen scampered for 72 yards on the play and finished with 221 on the day as his team beat the Bulldogs.
James Thomas and Deanthony Warrick provided fans with a highlight when they connected against DeSoto County. The connection was good for 76 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Southeast's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Thomas threw for 138 and 1 touchdown and Warrick had 124 yards receiving. On the ground Allen chipped in 221 yards. Kadarrius Carley helped Southeast's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.
Paul Maechtle's team's dynamic duo of Thomas and Warrick proved tough for Matt Egloff's team to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Carley helped Southeast's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.
Allen was a beast in the backfield as the Seminoles bested the Bulldogs.

Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Hardee's Kris Johnson and Tristen Lanier have proven to be a lethal combination. Johnson has thrown for 559 yards this season, while Lanier has 11 catches for 247 yards. Allen from the Seminoles leads the league in rushing with 1,041 yards.
Two of the top teams in 5A District 13 will go toe-to-toe this week when Southeast takes on the Wildcats. The Seminoles' offense has racked up 165 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Hardee has allowed only 56 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Buddy Martin's team takes on Southeast. The Wildcats are currently in first, while the Seminoles are in third.
There should be lots of points scored when Hardee and Southeast face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Wildcats comes in having scored 137 this season, while the Seminoles have scored 165. Hardee scored 46 points last week as it bested Bayshore.
Southeast was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. Earlier in the week, the Seminoles defeated the Bulldogs 42-25.
