Sidwell Friends faced BASIS in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Quakers were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Red Giants. Winning may never get old, but Sidwell Friends sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Daniel Rodriguez and Karan Tholan scored all four of Sidwell Friends' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Sidwell Friends' victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for BASIS, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sidwell Friends will welcome Washington Latin Public Charter School at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for BASIS, they will be playing at home against Idea at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
