Soccer Recap: Papillion-LaVista South Comes Up Short

Papillion-LaVista South was the 5-0 winner over Bellevue West when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell 3-1 to the Thunderbirds on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Papillion-LaVista South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Bellevue West are ranked fifth).

Papillion-LaVista South's goal came courtesy of Kiera Roberts, who's now up to five this season.

Papillion-LaVista South's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Bellevue West, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 18-1.

As of now, neither Papillion-LaVista South nor the Thunderbirds have any future games scheduled.
