Basketball Recap: Towers Comes Up Short

Towers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 66-36 loss at the hands of the Jasper County Hurricanes. The Titans were down 61-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Towers' defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Jasper County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-8.

Towers and Decatur will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Towers is facing Decatur at the right time seeing as Decatur is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Jasper County, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Salem at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Jasper County will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Salem will have lost eight straight heading into Saturday's contest.
