Basketball Recap: Keller Central Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Keller Central kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brewer Bears. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brewer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braelon Orr, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 20 points. What's more, Orr also posted a 63% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Jayden Johnson was another key player, putting up ten points and six boards.

Looking ahead, Keller Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Everman at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brewer, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Lamar at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
