Basketball Recap: Evanston Comes Up Short

Evanston lost against Natrona County back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Evanston Devils were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to the Natrona County Mustangs. The Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evanston's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Natrona County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Evanston will head out to challenge Green River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Green River has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Natrona County, they will face off against Jackson Hole at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Natrona County is facing Jackson Hole at the right time seeing as Jackson Hole is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
