Basketball Game Preview: Traverse City West Titans vs. Gaylord Blue Devils

The Traverse City West Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Gaylord Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Traverse City West and five for Gaylord.

Last Friday, Traverse City West came up short against Petoskey and fell 47-34.

Meanwhile, Gaylord also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Cadillac by a score of 56-46. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 348th, while the Vikings are ranked 83rd).

Traverse City West's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Gaylord, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.

Traverse City West was able to grind out a solid victory over Gaylord in their previous matchup back in January, winning 52-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Traverse City West since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
