Soccer Recap: Valencia Takes a Loss

Valencia was the 1-0 winner over Santa Ana when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Valencia Tigers lost 3-0 to the Santa Ana Saints on Friday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Tigers haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Valencia's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-2 and their overall record down to 13-4-3. As for Santa Ana, they pushed their record up to 9-6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Valencia has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Tustin on the 3rd. As for Santa Ana, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Godinez Fundamental on the 3rd.
