Sharpstown has gone 8-2 against Milby recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Sharpstown Apollos will look to defend their home court against the Milby Buffs at 10:00 a.m. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Sharpstown and five for Milby.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-18, which was the final score in Sharpstown's tilt against Sterling on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Milby had to suffer through a 78-49 loss at the hands of Waltrip.

Sharpstown will have to contain Delani Pestaina as he made an impact in Milby's last game. He went 7 for 17 on his way to 26 points and five steals. Pestaina's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Washington, who posted eight points and ten rebounds.

Even though they lost, Milby smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive games.

Milby's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Sharpstown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-12.

Sharpstown was able to grind out a solid victory over Milby in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 53-44. Does Sharpstown have another victory up their sleeve, or will Milby turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
