Volleyball Recap: Aislynne Anderson and Jillian Cratty Secure Win for Rocky Grove

Rocky Grove won the last time they faced Farrell and things went their way on Thursday too. The Orioles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Steelers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Orioles.

One reason for the win was Rocky Grove's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-8.

Leading Rocky Grove to victory were Jillian Cratty and Aislynne Anderson. Cratty had 26 assists, while Anderson had six kills. Cratty is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

Rocky Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive games.

Rocky Grove's record now sits at 7-3. As for Farrell, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Rocky Grove will venture away from home to take on Cranberry Area at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Farrell, they will welcome Wilmington at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
