Baseball Recap: Winona Comes Up Short

Winona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 9-1 to the Tyler Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Winona's record now sits at 0-3. As for Tyler, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Winona will take on Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tyler, they will venture away from home to take on Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on March 14th.
