Softball Recap: Scott Highlanders vs. Anderson County Mavericks
Scott had lost 11 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 1-15-1 to make it 12. They came up short against the Anderson County Mavericks, falling 23-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 10-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.
As for Anderson County, the victory got them back to even at 14-14. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
