Baseball Recap: Potterville Comes Up Short

Potterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They came up short against the Bath Fighting Bees, falling 9-2. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Fighting Bees from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Potterville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Long, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Potterville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Bath, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Potterville will square off against rival Dansville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bath is set to challenge their familiar foe Saranac at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
