Starting off the list is Patterson's Jeremiah Lugo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lugo rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August.

Juarez Made His Presence Known in Manteca's 49-0 Win
Nikko Juarez's big game helped extend Manteca's winning streak to five on Friday. Juarez turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 141 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
Unfortunately for East Union, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Juarez. Juarez rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries the last time he and the Lancers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Wes Burford Turns in Another Game with at Least 143 Rushing Yards
Wes Burford's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his eighth-straight game with 143+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns.
If history really does repeat itself, Burford might just drop another big game when he faces off against Sierra on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Burford saw the Timberwolves), he rushed for 287 yards and four touchdowns.

Joey Alcutt Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Joey Alcutt of Central Catholic. Alcutt rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. He is becoming a predictor of Central Catholic's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
Oakdale's probably not too fond of Alcutt given he always seems to get the better of them. Alcutt picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Mustangs duked it out back in October of 2023.
