Basketball Recap: West Ridge Takes a Loss

West Ridge played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 64-41 to the Science Hill Hilltoppers. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Hilltoppers: they've now lost four in a row.

West Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Science Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

West Ridge and Science Hill should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. West Ridge (ranked 128th) will meet Johnson County (ranked 294th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Science Hill will take on Morristown-Hamblen West at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 127 places (29 vs. 156).
