With a playoff win on the line, Ridgefield rose to the challenge on Monday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 64-33 victory over the Darien Blue Wave. The Tigers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 14 straight.

Ridgefield pushed their record up to 15-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.4 points over those games. As for Darien, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Ridgefield Tigers challenge Norwich Free Academy Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Darien does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
