Soccer Recap: Blue Ridge Early College Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge Early College was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Swain County Maroon Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Blue Ridge Early College of the 7-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Blue Ridge Early College's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Swain County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Blue Ridge Early College will be playing in front of their home fans against Towns County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Swain County, they will venture away from home to face off against Asheville School (Independent) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
