The Denver North Vikings gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against Centaurus by a score of 5-3. Pearl Phillips had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Denver North.
This is the second loss in a row for Centaurus and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denver North will face off against Prospect Ridge Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Centaurus will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Peak to Peak at 4:00 p.m. on March 14th.
