Basketball Recap: Dunnellon Takes a Loss

Dunnellon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Trinity Catholic Celtics 59-21. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Myah Roof was Dunnellon's leading scorer, having posted six points. Adriana Soto held things down on the boards with four rebounds. Tonyah Boggs took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Dunnellon's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Trinity Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Dunnellon will take on Fivay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity Catholic, they will host Oak Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oak Hall's defense has only allowed 24.9 points per game this season, so Trinity Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them.
